If you wish to
improve your fitness, your health, your frame of mind, your athletic
performance or change your body shape, then you may
benefit from personal training. The role of the
personal trainer is to work on a 1:1 basis to apply their training
techniques, motivate the client and provide an education at the same
time.
Marek very much believes in this idea of educating. The school
of thought that suggests PT's should stick to barking instructions and
'protect' themselves by keeping their ideas to themselves is
preposterous, and is normally borne out of worry that their methods do
not stand up to scrutiny. This tends to be the case
Knowledge of the
body and experience with clients from all walks of life allow Marek to
advice of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle changes that will achieve
your set goals quickly. Athletes can expected their routine to be
dissected to ascertain what combination of training will create the
improvement desired.
Any of Marek's
clients will be able to testify as to their trainer's passion in
explaining the science behind the physical tasks they are performing,
ie. 'the why behind the what'. This new-found knowledge is acknowledged
to motivate clients effectively as they can now identify with exactly
what change each lift/rep is bringing about.
When selecting a someone to take you that step further, you should
consider several things. How enthusiastic is the trainer in his role?
How knowledgeable are they and do they encourage your questions? In
particular, do they believe in what they are doing? Do other trainers
come to him for advice?
Marek trains
clients privately in Basingstoke and surrounding regions, providing the
advice required to quickly reach clients' goals.
Although working at a level well above the status quo, none of Marek's
methods are new or controversial and he did not devise many of the
principles he applies each session. It is the approach that is
different; using real scientific knowledge, Marek selects only the most
effective and proven methods to assimilate them into an
outwardly-simple package; because things work better when they are kept
simple.
