Personal Training FAQs
What level of physical conditioning should I have before I contact a personal trainer?
There is no level of conditioning required to start benefiting from personal training. Marek has conditioned world champion athletes and members of the general public who have been sedentary for many years. In any case, a good personal trainer will always give due thought to the current capabilities of new clients and design a program accordingly; Marek will always treat each client as the individual they are.
What sort of progress should I expect when I start personal training?
This will vary on your starting point, your aim and any obstacles you face. All personal training clients receive a full consultation before they embark on their physical program, and this will serve to give each client a good idea of the obstacles they must eliminate, the dietary changes they should make and the changes they can expect. Naturally, closer adherence to Marek's advice will result in better results, but Marek is an elite personal trainer who consistently achieves spectacular results from clients who have struggled with other approaches and those who have previously given up hope with personal training.
What is the difference between a mainstream personal trainer and an elite personal trainer?
Unfortunately the current system of regulation in personal training has created a plethora of under-qualified and unknowledgable personal trainers ('rep-counters'). What the public are generally unaware of is the only thing protecting them from an individual who may jeapardise their health is a 3-weekend course, consisting of 48 hours tuition from a tutor who never set foot outside of the classroom. There are a lot of personal trainers in the UK, but there are very few elite personal trainers. Elite personal trainers are those that have demonstrated expertise consistently and repetitively across a wide variety of clientele. Regardless of the circumstances, the aims or the obstacles, elite personal trainers use their knowledge and experience to achieve the results asked and have the reputation to go with it.
How many personal training sessions will I require?
Impossible to say. It will again depend on aim, level of progress and budget. Whether in Basingstoke or London, most clients first come on board with Blueprint Fitness with the Eight Week Transformation plan, which consists of 16 personal training sessions across that time, before perhaps settling into a less intense schedule of training. Other clients will train on a less regular basis according to their their needs.
Blueprint Fitness is proud to offer elite personal training in Kensington, Chelsea and West London and sets the standards both here and when deliveringpersonal training in Basingstoke.
